TrackMexican Road Trip FromThe Forgotten Memory of the Beaches (album) Label:  Self released Out:  Now
Brilliant track from an album that is not exactly new as it was released in the earliest pandemic times in April 2020 and as such perhaps did not get the attention that it’s brilliant early 60s, Dick Dale surf rock definitely deserves.

TrackThoughts Familiar FromThoughts Familar (single) Label:  Self released Out:  Now
Equidistant between the early jangly psyche of Primal Scream and the brooding darker sounds of the earliest of 60s surf rock, Dylan Sherry is one of those acts that drags originality out disparate musical nuances.

The promo blurb accompanying this release, sums this up so much better than I could…”Community Swimming Pool is the creation of multi-instrumentalist Glasgow based musician Bmac. It’s the comfortable, familiar guitar sound of bygone eighties days, autobiographical lyrics of depression and toxic love that makes for excellent dreampop escapism”

okNoah
