Beat The Delete #0196 (Weekly New Music Recommendations)

BTD0196

Thanks very much for joining us for  Beat The Delete #0196 and apologies for the delay. Unfortunately the South African Government in their infinite wisdom are turning off the electricity for 12 hours a day and imposing water restrictions as their is not enough electricity to pump the generally plentiful supplies from the reservoirs…fun indeed, but at least it is sunny!
Anyway, enough of my woes. Here are 16 new and new(ish) tracks that we hope will enable you to find some new favourites or become re-acquainted with  old ones.

Track: Clinging to the Ground From: Clinging to the Ground (single) Label: Self released Out: Now
From the The Revue zine, just because it is so good…“There are many things that draw listeners into the music of Cathedral Bells. The Matt Messore-led project creates some immersive shoegaze-infused bedroom-pop.
It’s a style that pairs perfectly with the intense sounds of Philly’s Rew, led by Andrew Fusca. Anyone who’s heard these two beforehand knows how well their styles would fit together, and, for the uninitiated, it’s immediately obvious with their new collaborative single, Clinging to the Ground
